Mas des Sorgues is a 350 year old Mas with a history as a pilgrim resting house close to the antiques village of Isle sur La Sorgue; worldwide renowned for its international antiques fairs twice a year and for its all year-round collectible and local produce market.
Overview
Completely renovated, the mas features state-of-the-art furniture, elegant staircases, and perfectly manicured gardens. It sleeps comfortably 16 guests within its eight well-appointed bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The fully equipped professional kitchen is ideal for group cooking classes.
Mas des Sorgues has been tastefully renovated throughout, keeping many original features, exposed brickwork, wooden beams and terracotta flooring. Covering 900 square meters, the villa includes eight bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms. There is a large elegant salon with fireplace, piano, and television, and a second smaller salon and indoor dining room seating 20 guests providing many spaces for family and friends to gather. The exceptional professional kitchen is a chef's paradise, ideal for large group cooking classes or for friends and family to cook together. For wine lovers, there is an impressive wine cave with tasting room.
Outside, you will find perfectly manicured gardens offering a spot to relax peacefully overlooking the fruit orchards or the mountains in the distance. You will not be disappointed with the alfresco dining possibilities one of them being within the most loved areas of the home, its courtyard, which is secretly hidden behind grand antique iron gates. To keep you cool in the Summer months, the antique swimming pool is an ornamental basin built almost 200 years ago and features an elegant fountain.
